Terms & Conditions of EasyStatistics

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of the software product EasyStatistics and any related services provided by EasyStatistics (“Provider”, “we”, “us”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating, or using EasyStatistics, you agree to these Terms.

2. Subject of the Agreement

EasyStatistics provides statistical analysis software to customers on a time-limited, non-exclusive license basis. The software is licensed, not sold.

3. License Grant and Restrictions
  • Licenses are non-exclusive, non-transferable, and granted for the purchased duration.
  • The license is device-bound after activation.
  • Sharing, sublicensing, reselling, or making the license available to third parties is prohibited.
  • Reverse engineering, decompilation, or modification of the software is prohibited to the extent permitted by law.
4. Demo License Recommendation

We strongly recommend that customers use the demo license prior to purchasing a paid license in order to verify technical compatibility and suitability for the intended purpose.

5. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in EUR unless stated otherwise. Payment processing is handled via third-party providers (e.g. Stripe). After successful payment, we provide access to the purchased license.

6. Refund Policy
6.1 Standard Refund Rules

Refunds are available only within the periods stated below and only if the paid license has not been activated:

  • 1-month license: refund possible within 7 days of purchase if not activated.
  • 1-year license: refund possible within 14 days of purchase if not activated.

Once a license has been activated, no refund is granted under the standard rules.

6.2 Exceptional Refunds After Activation

In exceptional cases, a refund may be granted after activation if the customer can reasonably demonstrate that the software cannot be used as intended due to technical incompatibility or a material technical defect that prevents use. Any such refund request must be submitted within the same periods stated above (7 / 14 days).

The Provider may request reasonable evidence (e.g. error logs, screenshots, device/OS details) and will decide case-by-case.

7. Availability, Updates, and Changes

We aim to provide stable software operation and may release updates for functionality, security, or compatibility. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, particularly where interruptions result from maintenance, security, force majeure, or third-party service dependencies.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The software is provided for statistical analysis and decision support. Results depend on user input, data quality, and correct interpretation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages and for outcomes derived from statistical interpretation. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the software and associated materials remain with EasyStatistics.

10. Termination

We may revoke or suspend a license in case of material breach of these Terms, including misuse or attempts to bypass licensing.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Where permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Germany.
