2. Overview of Data Processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide our software, manage licenses, process payments, protect our systems, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Categories of Personal Data
  • Account/communication data: e-mail address and any information you send us.
  • License data: license key, creation/expiration dates, and related license metadata.
  • Device-bound activation data: PC_UID (a device identifier used to bind the license to one device).
  • Technical data: IP address and server log data (e.g. request time, requested resource) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Payment data: payment status and transaction references. Full payment details are processed by our payment provider (see Section 6).

5. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use cookies, tracking technologies, advertising pixels, or analytics tools on our website. Therefore, a cookie consent banner is not required.

6. Payment Provider (Stripe)

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (e.g. Stripe). When you purchase a license, the payment provider processes payment data under its own responsibility and privacy terms. We receive only the information required to confirm payment status and to provide your license.

7. Data Recipients

We share personal data only where necessary, including with:

  • Payment provider(s) for payment processing (e.g. Stripe)
  • IT hosting / infrastructure providers (if applicable) for secure operation of our services
  • Authorities or advisors where required by law
8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes listed above:

  • License data: for the license duration and as required for legal claims and compliance.
  • Payment/accounting records: according to statutory retention periods.
  • Server logs: retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized.
9. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.
